Faulkner County Judge, Allen Dodson has issued a Burn Ban effective 3/17/25 at 3:30 p.m. – until further notice. Court Order 25-052
The Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is responsible for assigning 911 addresses throughout Faulkner County, except within the city limits of Conway. Please note that the county does not issue Certificates of Occupancy.
911 addresses serve a critical role beyond receiving mail—they ensure that first responders can locate you in an emergency. Every residential and commercial structure must have a unique address for safety and efficiency.

Road Naming in Subdivisions
For any new subdivisions, whether the plat will be recorded or not, road name requests must be submitted to our office.
Pre-Addressing Plats
Only plats that will be filed with the Circuit Clerk’s Office will be pre-addressed. Unrecorded subdivisions will not receive pre-addressing.
Master Street Address Guide (MSAG)
OEM maintains the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG)—the official database of valid streets, thoroughfares, house numbers, and communities within Faulkner County. The MSAG ensures that emergency responders are correctly assigned to specific addresses and helps route 911 calls to the correct Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).
Enhanced 911 (E911) System
E911 is designed to automatically associate a location with an emergency call, using either a physical address or a cellular tower. Dispatchers use specialized software to instantly identify a caller’s location and notify the appropriate responders. This system improves emergency response times for fires, break-ins, kidnappings, and other critical situations.
