Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)
What is the LEPC?
The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is dedicated to public safety and hazardous materials preparedness. The committee works in partnership with local governments and industries to:
✅ Enhance hazardous materials safety in the community
✅ Identify potential risks from chemicals stored or transported locally
✅ Improve emergency response planning for hazardous materials incidents
By fostering collaboration between first responders, government officials, businesses, and residents, the LEPC ensures that Faulkner County is better prepared for emergencies involving hazardous substances.
