On Wednesday, October 18th, a ceremony was held to announce the official reopening of the bridge on Blair Road in Greenbrier. The bridge collapsed in May due to floodwaters. County officials have worked hard since the day the bridge collapsed to get a new bridge built. The new bridge became passable in just 80 days construction time. The bridge was dedicated to Arlene Crafton Rowlett. This is the first bridge to be dedicated to a female in the State of Arkansas. Members of Arlene’s family joined Judge Baker in the ribbon cutting at the end of the ceremony.
